SLOPE/TITONTON DUVANTE/BEANFIELD/FABRICE LIG - Exchanging Tracks EP
A1.Slope - "Nippon House"
A2.Titonton Duvante - "Chi Doro" (Titonton refreak)
B1.Beanfield - "Yuki"
B2.Fabrice Lig - "Few Hours In Japan"
This EP has a distinctive japanese flavor! I specially liked Fabrice Lig's "Few Hours in Japan" which has also middle eastern feeling. Combination of far east and middle east is just fine. Other tracks are also OK but I'd really love to hear some japanese vocals.

DATA 80 aka HAKAN LIDBO - You Are Always On My Mind
A1."You Are Always On My Mind"
A2."Honey Dripping"
B1."Never Change"
B2."Everybody Dance"
If we don't count the boring title track, "You Are Always On My Mind" released from Jet Set Japan has 3 very nice tracks. All funky and rolling with Hakan Libdoish vocal moves. Although some might say that this kind of distorted vocals are already out of fashion, well, in this case it goes great with the job, specially female vocals on "Never Change" and male(!) vocals on "Everybody Dance".

ANTO VITALE/SOULBASICS/PLEASURE BAR/ROBERT BURIAN - Soul Tonic Mono Label Sampler
A
1.Anto Vitale - "La Mar"
2.Soulbasics - "City Lite" (Calypsoul mix)
B
1.Pleasure Bar - "What You Are" (instrumental)
2.Robert Burian - "Esplendor"
Although this one is released under Funky/Vocal House genre it's definately a Deep House piece. A1,A2 and B1 is just fine. Smooth, deep, jazzy and soulful House but Robert Burian's "Esplendor" is just an amazing track, deep with some progressive feeling.

AFRICANISM ALL STARS- Hard (12") / Yellow France
Hard (Bob Sinclar original mix)
Hard (Superchumbo Thunder mix)
This kind of records always remind me eveything about summer. Probably I've already heard every sample of this tune several times before, unique vocal arrangements and very nice synth lines makes this one a really nice track, besides Superchumbo interpretation may be a peak time floor killer too.

ANDRE, David & DJ SMALL presents BODYTALKERS - Jack The Beatbox (12") Brique Rouge France
Audio Soul Project is back again with Brigue Rouge France's "Jack The Beatbox". Although I'm getting sick about electro samples hacking into Tech house records, this one is tasty! On the other hand it's such a pleasure that seeing all of those House producers jumped into electro madness in last few years are coming back to their roots again. Briefly, house beats are IN again. Ok, I have to admit that reasonable amout of electro feeling is just nice and establishs diversity especially in a mix but hey guys please don't overdose it, One Trentemoller is just enough and He's doing his job perfectly.

DEMARKUS feat DANI DEAHL-You Remind Me (12") /Lazy Days US
As a Soulseek addict, I've been enjoying this one for a while and it finally came out from Lazy Days US. Let alone the beauty of the title track, Fred Everything's interpretation of "You Remind Me" is definately the smash of the week.

Soulmagic-Soulmagic(12") /Soulmagic
although it seems like people at the Soulmagic label have lack of imagination and creativity for naming, I really liked the first release of this one. Probably it's because of the smooth vocals. There is nothing THAT special about this one but although Funky/Vocal/Club House is the genre with the most new releases every week it's so hard to find even a single nice record to pick and highlight unless you are spinning in a beach club in aegean coasts of Turkey and you are looking for some disturbingly screaming female vocals with brain damager snare drums before so called build ups for playing between this summer's Hot Turkish hits.
So I picked this one one. Deserves a shot.
